DR-one was an integrated real-time foreign
exchange/money market dealing room solution linking applications from diverse technical
platforms and market information services in a single, menu-driven universal
workstation. DR-one operated under MS-DOS, OS/2 and Windows and ran on the IBM PS/2 and
the IBM PC over token-ring network and TCP/IP, using multiple windowed display screens to
provide easy, real-time access to a variety of service and applications
simultaneously.
I spent 10 years on this project before it was retired - this
and some fond memories are about all that is left.
